Always having a passion for helping people, I wanted a career that allowed me to have a positive impact on peoples lives.   I started working with people in 2001 in the funeral industry. Meeting with families who have experienced a death and hearing about everything they went through with medical costs, nursing home cost, funeral expenses and the costs and frustration of closing out their loved ones lives, I wished to help them before these things happen. By the time the family came to me, it was too late. In my mind that wasn't really doing what I had hoped to do. After more than 10 years in that business, I decided to start a new career.

I entered financial services and insurance through a large company but soon realized they wanted me to represent their interest before the client.  After joining Marion Investment Advisors, now I love what I do and have been able to see the results. Nothing makes me happier than when a client calls to thank me for my advice and expertise. Over the years I've learned so much about how to have a safe retirement. I'm always very happy to share what I've learned with others!

I live in West Columbia with my husband Scott Chitty and our cat Felix. I attended Columbia College in the 80's as a music major, but my love for painting took me in a different direction. My other passion in life is art and photography, mostly taking photos and painting children and pet portraits.

After graduating from college I spent the next 10 years helping my parents run our restaurant, The Mill Pond in Boykin, S.C. Our family business did very well with articles written in Travel & Leisure, GQ, The New York Times, Sandlapper and Southern Living (3 times)! After 10 years we decided to sell the restaurant. 

My journey in life has led me to where I now feel the happiest! I’m helping people and creating beautiful things for people to cherish!
